“After getting multiple estimates to replace our gas furnace and damaged ducting, we chose Nur HVAC and have been very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of our Mitsubishi heat pump mini-split setup and heat pump water heater. David was helpful in explaining why we should consider a ductless mini-split setup since we needed to remove all our old ducting. Their pricing is competitive, but I was most impressed with the installation of our 4 cassette indoor units - very clean, during and after what was probably a challenging 1-week install. “We installed a heat pump recently to be able to have AC and to replace an old furnace. Reached out to a few HVAC contractors and decided to go with NUR to install a Mitsubishi heat pump. David was our first point of contact and one of the main reasons we chose NUR. When he came to visit and provide an initial estimate, he explained the different options available and what to consider for each one, from duel fuel options to heat pumps. He was not pushy and was very patient with our questions. Afterwards, he provided a few quotes for us and answered questions via email and phone promptly. When it came to the installation, his team (Artur, Ilias, and others) was great as well; they were all very respectful and took great care in making sure the install was done properly. The install took 3 days and David came to check in towards the end of the install to make sure everything was working properly and things were cleaned up. NUR helped schedule the HERS test and city inspection afterwards. Overall, a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend working with NUR for any HVAC needs!”
“Nur HVAC replaced my old gas furnace and replaced it with a Mitsubishi heat pump. They also redid my ducts. David initially came to my house to give me a quote, he offered me a ductless option which no other HVAC companies suggested, and was clearly experienced in HVAC installation, and gave me the best quote for top of the line equipment. Other HVAC companies sent salespeople, but David was technical and addressed my concerns and questions with great detail. The team that installed my new heat pump went above and beyond - they fixed some loose wiring in the crawlspace and adjusted the gas and exhaust lines for my water heater to save space. The installation was well done, the wiring and new lines they ran were clean and organized, they ensured that all the ducts were sealed and the airflow was balanced to all my rooms. “NUR HVAC just completed installation of a Mitsubishi heat pump system in my San Francisco home, replacing a 38-year-old Lennox gas furnace. “Our old A/C unit went out (dramatically spewing coolant everywhere) in the middle of summer. We contacted Nur HVAC and got them to come take a look at the situation. They recommended replacing our old furnace with a new heat pump along with the new A/C unit. It took a few weeks for a permit, but then they scheduled the job promptly. It was very labor intensive...removing the old equipment, building a new platform with plywood, installing everything. It took 3 full days, but they did an excellent job and cleaned everything up completely when they were finished. The system looks and works so much better now. Workers were polite and respectful.
