“NUR HVAC replaced our old furnace heating system with a heat pump and mini-split heating/AC units. David was very responsive and came by to give a quote within a few days. He answered our many questions, made recommendations on where to locate the new units, and helped prepare the paperwork for our HOA approval. We compared quotes with several neighbors who had also recently installed heat pumps and the quote was lower than the others. The installation team was very friendly and professional, using shoe covers and cleaning up after themselves every day. They stayed later than we expected to wrap up work in the evenings too. I caught COVID over a weekend during the work and they were very flexible in rescheduling for a couple weeks later. The only minor issue was that they didn't speak much English, but we were able to use Google translate, and David was always available if we needed to speak with him. Overall we had a great experience with them. Our system is fully functional now and we'd recommend NUR HVAC to others due to how responsive, professional, and reasonably priced they are.”
“I'd like to highly recommend NUR HVAC. I recently replaced my old furnace and AC with NUR. David, Alex and Roman were very nice and professional, they clearly explained the situation and provided several options. The price was fair and Alex and Roman did a great job on the installation. After the work, Roman helped me to replace our old bubble wrap nicely, and Alex made sure that we had enough Freon (actually they added some extra Freon considering the pipe) according to the regulations. They worked very hard until night. The second day, when I reported that the thermostat was not working, Alex drove to our place again to take another look. Turns out that I forgot to turn on a switch. I will definitely use NUR HVAC in the future”
“Great service twice now from Islam D! I have 2 small children and both times they've gone above and beyond to help me get heat going as quickly as possible. First time the motherboard went out on my furnace and Islam had an old one with him that he was able to quickly install while we waited for new replacement under warranty as unit is under 3 years old. Came back once he had new one and swapped them out again. This most recent time Islam came after hours and I can only imagine after an already long day to make sure he was able to help us as of course it had been our coldest days of the winter. We went to furnace and he checked everything to find nothing actually wrong. He decided to switch up wiring to thermostat as only 2 of the 5 wires available were being used and thankfully that worked. Even came out of it being able to now use the "fan" function on furnace. As long as Islam works for Nur HVAC, I will not being calling anyone but him!”
“We had old gas furnace replaced with heat pump and condenser. David gave us a very competitive quote. Both Alexander and Constantine are great crews replaced our furnace in our crawl space. The workmanship is excellent. They are all very knowledgeable. David really care for his clients, he came late at night to teach us how to setup the control because we are old folks don't know how to download with wifi for the control. Arthur is very friendly, he waited patiently for the city inspector. Everything goes smoothly for this project. We are very happy to have this company to do the job.”
“Our 25+ years old gas furnace ran into issues and we could have just replaced the part and limped along for a while. We decided to do a like-for-like replacement...we got a quote (I won't mention the name of the vendor) and got a quote for a Bryant a/c/ gas furnace (lower than the Carrier a/c that we had) and the quote was pretty high ~ $25K and NO REBATES (this person did not even offer us the option of a heat pump). Our son suggested going to Yelp to get a project quote given we were spending so much money - from the 8 companies we talked to we zeroed in on Irbis and NUR and both companies were solid. Our main reason for going with NUR were the following : 1) With NUR we dealt directly with the Owner not a sales team : David - he is a no-nonsense, straight shooter who is extremely knowledgeable about all things HVAC. 2) Offered the right spec and quality of machine - He told us we should go with the Heat Pump (replace gas furnace) given we had solar and he offered us the complex split zoning for our single family house. Upgraded our carrier a/c to a Mitsubishi Heat Pump (see picture) 3) Reasonable Quote, High Quality work - He offered us an extremely reasonable quote for a high end heat pump, his technicians were top notch. Igor and Mikhail were brilliant - they spent a week at our place and were so polite, skilled and unobtrusive. They cleaned up after themselves every single day that they came in. 4) Helped me get the $3500 rebate from Peninsula Clean Energy 5) After install customer service is brilliant. I am doing this review after a month but these guys are beyond amazing when it comes to responsiveness to any questions or concerns. If I do any replacement of my HVAC and water heaters in the future - I will not look beyond NUR - they have my business for life”
“Nur HVAC recently installed a heat pump (so we could finally have cool air during the summer!) and a new furnace since we still prefer to heat with gas. I could not be more pleased. I obtained estimates from 3 companies, including Nur. One was the Costco installer. They were nice but very expensive and didn't have the greatest post-install reviews. Still, I considered them. Another company provided what seemed like a pitch for a time share, complete with an album showing their reviews. This lasted close to 20 minutes! Nice company but out of the ballpark on price (maybe the presentation was intended to make you forget the final price?) and the estimate ran multiple pages which made comparing options impossible. Then came Artur with Nur HVAC. He was prompt, provided an easy to read, no nonsense estimate comparing options and did not try to upsell me by actually recommending less expensive options. They also had the best price no matter what we went with. The team which did the install was efficient, prompt, did solid work and were extremely polite. The job was so well done that when the city inspector came by for the final sign off, he was impressed by the work and told me that he has never had a problem with Nur. He explained how others take short cuts and how he is able to spot the problems. He told me Nur HVAC was one of only a handful of companies that always passed inspection as the installs were safe and properly done. I could not praise Artur and his team more! You will not find a more polite, professional and hardworking company that provides such great value for the money.”

NUR seemed to be the best of the three both in terms of knowledge and desire to please the client. Upon completion and using the system for a couple of months I can tell you that it was the right choice. NUR team even helped with guidance on insulation (which we were thin with) and most recently, power outage had tripped a fuse.
