“We used Nur HVAC to replace gas furnace with a heat pump inverter, replace the aging duct work and gas water heater with a heat pump water heater, all in the same contract. Our project manager, Arthur was on-time for the scoping appointment. He took time to understand our needs, investigated the attic, ducts and all the existing equipment, before making any recommendations. He designed the optimal system for our house to be cost effective, provide highest comfort and be energy efficient. He was not pushy and was upfront about the ballpark estimates and timeline. He also walked us thru the various rebates that are available for the replacements from local utilities. Arthur's quote was very competitive, in fact better than those quoted to us by Costco referred contractors. Nur's installation crew - Eldar, Bhakridin, were very professional and thorough. They didn't rush the job and left the job site clean and clutter free each day. They accommodated our requests for placing the electrical wires and conduits so they are not in the way. All the equipment both indoor and outdoor were cleanly laid out, secured and wiped down before hand off. Always smiling and respectful, one of the best installation crew we have had. “Nur installed and serviced our heat pump since the beginning of 2025. Quality of work, including the air handling, heat pump, ductwork, piping and electrical work was excellent. There were communication issues with the field crew but were ultimately resolved. Only with the recent warmer weather I used the cooling stage (instead of the heating) and came across a problem where it wasn't cooling fast enough. Artur A. came back, checked all the vents and adjusted the air handling speed so it cools down much faster. Nur was responsive and fairly quick to correct our concerns. “NUR HVAC just completed installation of a Mitsubishi heat pump system in my San Francisco home, replacing a 38-year-old Lennox gas furnace. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism shown during the process. In particular, I wanted to commend Artur and Vladimir, the NUR technicians who did the beautiful install. Both guys were extremely polite and respectful, for example, putting on shoe covers whenever they entered the house. Artur was also very fastidious in running the ancillary electrical feeds to my main service panel. What a neat job! Fedor, who came to do the initial assessment, was a great resource and answered all my questions regarding scheduling, warranty, maintenance, etc. He offered several options during the bidding process without any pressure to come to a quick decision or attempts at "upselling." In the end, their quote was very competitive, and fair given the quality of the work and the final product. Being a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor, NUR was able to offer a 12-year warranty on parts and labor. “We initially worked with David and team to upgrade our electrical panel from 100 to 200 amps for an ev charger install. We had such a good experience that when we decided to take advantage of the excellent rebates in San Mateo county to further electrify our house with a heat pump HVAC and heat pump water heater, we reached out to Nur again. David is responsive, listened to our needs and was able to suggest a solution that worked for us. The multi zone heat pump install was super clean - a cassette unit, a wall unit, and a ducted air handler-- all line sets were routed in the walls with no extraneous wires or holes. We're very pleased. The city inspector mentioned that this was the best install that he has seen-- that makes us feel confident in the work done. “Nur HVAC is the company you 10000% want to use for your HVAC! I had a ducted heat pump installed and got 4 quotes. Companies gave widely variable information on what ton system I needed, what additional work I needed to the existing ducts, where to put the outdoor unit, etc--one company did this over the phone without even inspecting the existing duct work setup, based on house square footage alone (which is totally wrong!)! Luckily, I have a friend of a friend who owns an HVAC company who could review the quotes. He looked at my house and ran his calculations and told me that Nur was spot-on with their analysis of the appropriately sized system and were giving me a very good price on an excellent system. Nur responds faster to email than any other company and always answered my questions. I worked with Artur who patiently answered all my questions by phone (and I had lots of them while I decided whether / how to do this project!) and told me about local incentives I wasn't aware of and Nur helped me apply for them (TechClean, PCE rebate and loan). I made my final decision to do the project with Nur in early December and they were able to schedule the job in time to get the last federal incentives of 2025. They even bumped up the start date of the work when they had a window to do it. The project took about 2.5 days. Their workers were courteous, clean, and thoughtful. They put down tarp everywhere inside so they didn't get the floors dirty. They went through each room to tweak the system to get adequate airflow to cooler rooms and less to warmer ones. They did thoughtful touches I didn't even ask for such as painting the lines outside to match the exterior paint of the home! Even after the job was complete, Artur continued to answer my questions by text and phone about how to best use the new thermostat. I just had the city inspection and the inspector said he had worked with Nur many times and they always do great work. In addition to passing it after a detailed evaluation, he called it a "beautiful installation job". Would definitely recommend Nur to anyone looking for HVAC service, repair, or replacement in the Bay Area!”
“David and his crew did an amazing job at installing a new high efficiency furnace with new ducting. The new system feels nice and warm plus it is QUIET. My old system was a headache as it was loud for my making calls while working from home. Much better now We shopped around and David definitely knew the most about maintenance that we found. He quickly diagnosed our current system with his tools and didn't pressure us to spend a ton on a new system while other companies did. Other companies wanted to jump right to a heat pump, but David explained we could upgrade later if we wanted and we appreciated him explaining the pros and cons without being pushy. The intake we had before was huge and took up a lot more space in our crawl space and the crew made all of the fittings by hand from sheet metal for a perfect fit.
