“Our 25+ years old gas furnace ran into issues and we could have just replaced the part and limped along for a while. We decided to do a like-for-like replacement...we got a quote (I won't mention the name of the vendor) and got a quote for a Bryant a/c/ gas furnace (lower than the Carrier a/c that we had) and the quote was pretty high ~ $25K and NO REBATES (this person did not even offer us the option of a heat pump). Our son suggested going to Yelp to get a project quote given we were spending so much money - from the 8 companies we talked to we zeroed in on Irbis and NUR and both companies were solid. Our main reason for going with NUR were the following : 1) With NUR we dealt directly with the Owner not a sales team : David - he is a no-nonsense, straight shooter who is extremely knowledgeable about all things HVAC. 2) Offered the right spec and quality of machine - He told us we should go with the Heat Pump (replace gas furnace) given we had solar and he offered us the complex split zoning for our single family house. Upgraded our carrier a/c to a Mitsubishi Heat Pump (see picture) 3) Reasonable Quote, High Quality work - He offered us an extremely reasonable quote for a high end heat pump, his technicians were top notch. Igor and Mikhail were brilliant - they spent a week at our place and were so polite, skilled and unobtrusive. They cleaned up after themselves every single day that they came in. 4) Helped me get the $3500 rebate from Peninsula Clean Energy 5) After install customer service is brilliant. I am doing this review after a month but these guys are beyond amazing when it comes to responsiveness to any questions or concerns. If I do any replacement of my HVAC and water heaters in the future - I will not look beyond NUR - they have my business for life”
“NUR installed a ductless multi-zone Mitsubishi mini-split system for us this spring after our 100-year-old lovely monster of a gas boiler died. It's so far out of code that no one will repair it, and we were tired of being cold! The new system is electric with a heat pump on the roof, and it includes AC for the six days a year when my usually foggy neighborhood needs it. We chose NUR because they offered competitive prices and clear communication, and they were able to place the indoor units exactly where we wanted them. The installation took just a couple of days and they were kind and efficient. If you are looking to get a job like this done, you should give them a call.”
“This is the 2nd project I've done with NUR, and similar to the first time, I am a happy customer. From start to finish, NUR (in particular technician, Adlan) is completely professional. They are diligent and timely with their responses and scheduling. Adlan came out and diagnosed our 20 year old A/C system and was able to revive it, but prepared us with options for the future should the system go out again. He was extremely thorough in explaining these in layman terms. HVAC systems will always need maintenance and repairs, that's a given. However, I know that I have an honest, value-added, and well-run company to work with in NUR. Highly recommended!”
“This will be my 2nd 5-star review for NUR HVAC and specifically for the work that Adlan provided with installing a new furnace in my Mom's house. This was a follow up review to my first one where he saved the day in fixing my mom's ancient furnace. This one is to really provide value and context with the exceptional work Adlan did in working his magic yet again in getting the job done so efficiently and creating such an easy/seamless experience with the installation of the new furnace. I truly commend his time, effort and overall expertise to ensure everything was installed with the highest level of precision. He is meticulous in his work and I am beyond impress with his professionalism and kindness. He again walked me through each of the new features and provided guidance on what to look out for and the maintenance needed (which was very little with everything being super new). We now have a great new Carrier furnace and a cool Ecobee Thermostat that is super user friendly and modern. If you get lucky enough to have Adlan on your service call, then just know you hit the jackpot in someone who truly cares about his work, is super diligent and is dedicated to providing you with 5-star customer service. “Very pleased with their heat pump installation. I got three quotes and theirs was just a little lower than the others, but I chose them because they explained everything very well. They did not try to upsell like the other companies, which I appreciated. Installation went quickly and everyone was very pleasant. Photo with Arthur and our heat pump. Update, year and a half later: everything is working well. They helped me apply for the rebate after it was installed. I asked if I should do maintenance and they showed me what kind of filter to get. David came by and checked everything over (2nd photo) and didn't even charge because nothing was needed beyond changing the filter.”

“NUR HVAC just completed installation of a Mitsubishi heat pump system in my San Francisco home, replacing a 38-year-old Lennox gas furnace. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism shown during the process. In particular, I wanted to commend Artur and Vladimir, the NUR technicians who did the beautiful install. Both guys were extremely polite and respectful, for example, putting on shoe covers whenever they entered the house. Artur was also very fastidious in running the ancillary electrical feeds to my main service panel. What a neat job! Fedor, who came to do the initial assessment, was a great resource and answered all my questions regarding scheduling, warranty, maintenance, etc. He offered several options during the bidding process without any pressure to come to a quick decision or attempts at “upselling.” In the end, their quote was very competitive, and fair given the quality of the work and the final product. Being a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor, NUR was able to offer a 12-year warranty on parts and labor. The bottom line is NUR is a top quality outfit and it was easy to see that they take great pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers. NUR may be the best contractor I’ve ever used.
