“After getting multiple estimates to replace our gas furnace and damaged ducting, we chose Nur HVAC and have been very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of our Mitsubishi heat pump mini-split setup and heat pump water heater. David was helpful in explaining why we should consider a ductless mini-split setup since we needed to remove all our old ducting. Nur HVAC was the only company to help us consider the options vs. just following what I thought was available. Their pricing is competitive, but I was most impressed with the installation of our 4 cassette indoor units - very clean, during and after what was probably a challenging 1-week install. “NUR HVAC just completed installation of a Mitsubishi heat pump system in my San Francisco home, replacing a 38-year-old Lennox gas furnace. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism shown during the process. In particular, I wanted to commend Artur and Vladimir, the NUR technicians who did the beautiful install. Both guys were extremely polite and respectful, for example, putting on shoe covers whenever they entered the house. Artur was also very fastidious in running the ancillary electrical feeds to my main service panel. What a neat job! Fedor, who came to do the initial assessment, was a great resource and answered all my questions regarding scheduling, warranty, maintenance, etc. He offered several options during the bidding process without any pressure to come to a quick decision or attempts at "upselling." In the end, their quote was very competitive, and fair given the quality of the work and the final product. Being a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor, NUR was able to offer a 12-year warranty on parts and labor. The bottom line is NUR is a top-quality outfit and it was easy to see that they take great pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers. NUR may be the best contractor I've ever used. “David and his team (Igor, Alexendar, Artur) were amazing. We replaced our 25 year old gas furnace with a Mitsubishi heat pump, which also added air-conditioning as a bonus! I couldn't be happier with their service. Many companies aggressively push you to leave a review after a project, while others truly earn it. In the case of NUR, it's definitely the latter. They went above and beyond my expectations in terms of ensuring the system was working as efficiently as possible. Our installation went super smoothly, and as you can see from the photos, they did a phenomenal job. The install is clean and tidy. Speaking of tidy, they even vacuumed my entire utility space under the home. I don't think it's been that clean down there sine we bought the house almost 20 years ago! Anyways, after the installation we ran into a difficult to troubleshoot issue related to my pre-existing ductwork. It had nothing to do with the work NUR did, but David was absolutely relentless in trying to figure out what was going on. He didn't care that it wasn't due to anything they did wrong, he wanted to make sure the system worked optimally, and made many phone calls and researched the issue, until he figured it out. I am quite confident that 9 of 10 companies would have simply said "the system is working within spec" and washed their hands of it. But David knew that something wasn't quite right, and without me pushing him, set off to ensure he figured it out. I really, really appreciate a business owner who operates this way. Beyond that, I will say that he and his team were incredibly responsive throughout the project. He was typically available by phone or text, and if he didn't answer the phone, I would receive a return call usually within 20 minutes. Lastly, they quoted me a very fair price for a Mitsubishi unit that was a higher-end unit compared to what his competitors were quoting. In fact, the efficiency rating for the unit was high enough that it qualified for the added $2,000 federal tax credit, which the other units did not. Highly, highly recommend NUR.”

“We used Nur HVAC to replace gas furnace with a heat pump inverter, replace the aging duct work and gas water heater with a heat pump water heater, all in the same contract. Our project manager, Arthur was on-time for the scoping appointment. He took time to understand our needs, investigated the attic, ducts and all the existing equipment, before making any recommendations. He designed the optimal system for our house to be cost effective, provide highest comfort and be energy efficient. He was not pushy and was upfront about the ballpark estimates and timeline. He also walked us thru the various rebates that are available for the replacements from local utilities. Arthur’s quote was very competitive, in fact better than those quoted to us by Costco referred contractors. Nur’s installation crew - Eldar, Bhakridin, were very professional and thorough. “Our old A/C unit went out (dramatically spewing coolant everywhere) in the middle of summer. We contacted Nur HVAC and got them to come take a look at the situation. They recommended replacing our old furnace with a new heat pump along with the new A/C unit. It took a few weeks for a permit, but then they scheduled the job promptly. It was very labor intensive...removing the old equipment, building a new platform with plywood, installing everything. It took 3 full days, but they did an excellent job and cleaned everything up completely when they were finished. The system looks and works so much better now. Workers were polite and respectful. Would definitely recommend.”
“We installed a heat pump recently to be able to have AC and to replace an old furnace. Reached out to a few HVAC contractors and decided to go with NUR to install a Mitsubishi heat pump. David was our first point of contact and one of the main reasons we chose NUR. When he came to visit and provide an initial estimate, he explained the different options available and what to consider for each one, from duel fuel options to heat pumps. He was not pushy and was very patient with our questions. Afterwards, he provided a few quotes for us and answered questions via email and phone promptly. When it came to the installation, his team (Artur, Ilias, and others) was great as well; they were all very respectful and took great care in making sure the install was done properly. The install took 3 days and David came to check in towards the end of the install to make sure everything was working properly and things were cleaned up.
