Mitsubishi multi-zone heat pump outdoor unit MMXZ3C30NA installation in Sunnyvale, CA
Nur HVAC completed a Mitsubishi multi-zone heat pump installation in Sunnyvale, CA, setting the MMXZ3C30NA outdoor unit; we handle the same projects for homeowners in San Carlos and around the Bay Area. A Mitsubishi multi-zone heat pump is a ductless mini-split air conditioning system that is designed to provide heating and cooling to multiple rooms or zones using a single outdoor unit and multiple indoor units.
Why this system fits the home
This system is ideal for homes or buildings with multiple rooms or areas that require individual temperature control. Each indoor unit can be set to its own temperature, so a bedroom can stay cool at night while the rest of the house runs warmer, and rooms that are not in use don’t have to be conditioned at all. It is easy to install and operates quietly. With its ability to provide individual temperature control in multiple rooms or zones, the Mitsubishi multi-zone heat pump can help improve comfort levels while reducing energy waste.

Because the system is ductless, it also avoids the energy losses that come with pushing air through long duct runs, which is one of the reasons these setups are popular in homes without existing ductwork.
How the installation went
The MMXZ3C30NA outdoor unit was mounted on a stable base with clearance for airflow and service access, the refrigerant lines and wiring were routed to the indoor units, and the whole system was tested in both heating and cooling modes before handoff. The result is quiet, even comfort with each zone under its own control. The homeowners now have independent control in each zone, quiet operation indoors, and a single efficient outdoor unit doing the work of several window units or space heaters. If room-by-room comfort sounds like the right fit for your house, our multi-zone heat pump system service page covers how we approach these installations from sizing to startup.

“We got a heat pump installed by Nur HVAC. Their quote was within the ballpark of the other ones we got. Transparent, prompt, and responsive during scheduling and permitting. The team that did the install was very hardworking and quality-oriented, kept us in the loop about schedule, always left the place clean at the end of the day, and was flexible in accomodating some last-minute changes we asked for. Overall highly recommended!”
“Excellent service, very thorough in the investigation and ability to fix was quick and efficient. We had an appliance repair + a/c and fireplace - everything was able to be addressed with Ilias from Nur service. Very professional and ability to identify issue and fix was accurate and quickly get things back in working order. Highly recommend”
“Their installation is very professional. And they would like to respond to your additional questions and provide solutions for it. Good communication and good work.”
“Had a great experience with Nur Service. Michael was quick to fix our heater (capacitor needed to be replaced). The next week we thought there was an issue with the heater again, and he came back to check on it. Turns out it was an issue with the thermostat, which was easy to fix. Overall, we appreciate the quick service and quick response times, and reasonable pricing.”
“We hired David, Ilyas and team to install split A/C system for my townhouse. I was impressed with their thorough inspection during their first visit, esp because I have had two more contractors come over and do a lot of "sales talk". On the contrary David was very technical in his discussion (absolutely no sales talk) and he tool time to understand the limitations posed by our HOA and hour townhome architecture and provided us multiple options. Their quote was at least 40% cheaper than the other two groups I had talked with. Upon hiring them, they completed the work in 2 days. On both days they were on time, and very professional. I strongly recommend Nur HVAC for A/C projects.”
“After a couple of unreliable contractors I connected through Thumbtack, I came to Yelp to find a reliable electrician. I'm so glad I found David. He was prompt with his response and provided a reasonable quote after seeing a few short clips of my video and project request via text. Then, he scheduled an on site visit to ensure he gets all the right materials (match existing outlet and light switch) before confirming a project date. Throughout the process, he explains his findings, plans, and was thorough with safety precautions. David installed a new outlet for my bidet washlet, an external outlet in the yard, and changed the light switches into dimmable switches. Thank you, David, for treating us like family!”
“We had Islam come and install a smart Ecobee Thermostat and he did it very professionally! There was an issue with our wiring but he was patient and did the necessary adjustments to have our thermostat installed safely. He was very friendly to my family and respected our home. Prices were reasonable as well compared to other HVAC companies in the area! Clear and concise communication from start to finish. Thanks again!”

“I hired Nur HVAC for a major upgrade to my home's system, and they did an incredible job. The project involved converting my entire house from a gas heat pump to a new all-electric Mitsubishi system, and they also installed a split unit in my garage. Their prices were very reasonable, but what truly stood out was the professional quality of the installation. The team performed a very careful evaluation of all my existing ducts and vents to ensure the new system was installed for optimal performance. The work speaks for itself. It's been almost two months since the installation, and everything is working top-notch. I'm super happy I chose Nur HVAC and highly recommend them.”
“Adlan is fantastic! Very thorough and has high technical expertise. Made me very comfortable and confident in his work.”
“I could not be happier with the work Nur HVAC did. Mine was a large residential job, replacing 2 furnaces and 2 HVAC units. I procured 3 estimates from different companies and Nur provided the most detailed estimate at the lowest price. Communication was good throughout the process and the project was finished on time. I'm most happy about the quality of the work. It is meticulous! The entire project was a great experience.”
“We got our furnace replaced with a heat pump. Everyone from NUR was very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Our installation took slightly longer than expected due to a faulty unit, but once we got a new unit it was done smoothly. Would definitely recommend.”
“Great service, called following an issue with the drain pump. Alex came a couple of hours later to look at the problem.”
