Our AC stopped working and I reached out to a few companies on Yelp to get info. Nur HVAC was fast and patient in responding to all my questions regarding cost for a diagnostic, and rough quotes for refilling freon in case that ended up being the issue. They were transparent about costs, but also managed expectations given they hadn't seen the issue. After the technician arrived (Michael K), he confirmed I was low on freon, likely because of a leak. He gave me a few options, costs, and his recommendations on further diagnosis, especially given how old my system was (20+yrs). He was patient to educate me about the system so I could make an informed decision. We confirmed the leak was small, and I was OK with just filling with freon, rather than trying to find/patch the leak or replacing the system. The cost of adding freon covered the diagnostic fee.”

By the time we were done, David and his partner took care of a large and complex set of projects that needed attention in my house, ranging from fixing various plumbing fixtures, to some complex installations, to fixing stock lock, to doing a very complex investigation and repair of a botched up (by prior crew) pool cover motor install. Of particular complexity were the electrical portions of the work, requiring finding practical and high-durability solutions to complex problems, involving dead wires buried in the ground, working with half-installed motors and pumps, shorting switches, etc. I could not be happier with any aspect of the numerous jobs these guys have done for me. They were extremely efficient time and materials-wise, did very high quality work, were extremely punctual and courteous, and proposed and implemented solutions to some problems I long gave up on due to thinking they were impossible to solve affordably. The payment they charge is way, way below what their level of expertise and quality deserves. I am absolutely going to call them for everything and anything I need help with. They are the cavalry of my dreams!”
