What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences over time, so you don't have to re-enter them whenever you come back or browse from page to page.

How we use cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

• Essential cookies: required for the website to function properly, such as remembering that you accepted this notice.
• Preference cookies: remember your choices to give you a better, more personalized experience.
• Analytics & performance: we use our own first-party analytics to understand how the site is used - pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, clicks and device type. We store an anonymized (hashed) version of your IP address, not the raw IP, and use it to estimate an approximate location (city/region) so we can better serve our local service area. This data is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.

Third-party cookies

Our live chat (chat.nurhvac.com) is our own service, not a third-party chat provider. It does not set cookies. It stores a random chat visitor ID (nurchat_eid) in your browser's local storage so your conversation continues when you come back, and when you start a chat it sends that ID, the page you are on, your device type, operating system and browser, and our analytics session ID to our chat server. When you open the chat window, Google reCAPTCHA is loaded to protect the contact form from spam; Google may set its own cookies for this.

We also use an IP-geolocation lookup (ip-api) on our server only to estimate the approximate city/region of visitors. Third-party providers have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data.

Advertising and measurement services

Unless you decline or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our website loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads the following third-party advertising and measurement services. They may set their own cookies and receive information such as the pages you visit, your IP address and device details:

• Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google LLC), loaded via Google Tag Manager - site statistics and ad conversion measurement.
• Microsoft Advertising (Bing UET) (Microsoft Corporation) - ad conversion measurement.
• Call tracking by SearchKings / CallTrackingMetrics - shows a tracking phone number to measure which ads lead to calls.
• ClickCease - detection of invalid and fraudulent ad clicks.
• Advertising partners of our marketing agency: bidr.io and Universal Ads (adsmeasurement) - ad measurement.

Your Privacy Choices

Use the "Your Privacy Choices" link at the bottom of every page to open the cookie notice and change your choice. If you click Decline, we save your choice in your browser and the services listed above are no longer loaded on our website. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as Decline automatically.

Your choice is stored in this browser only. If you clear your cookies or use another browser or device, you will need to make your choice again. Services that were already loaded before you declined may have set cookies earlier; you can delete them in your browser settings.

Our own first-party analytics described above (page views, time on page, scroll depth, clicks) is not affected by this choice.

Managing your cookies
