Nur HVAC installed a Bryant 821TA36045V14 furnace, an 80% two-stage gas furnace, replacing the home’s old unit. The new furnace was set in place and brought up to city standards as part of a full changeout that covered the gas, venting, and thermostat connections.

A complete furnace replacement is more than just swapping the box; each connection has to be remade correctly for the system to run safely. Our technician handled the job from removal through final hookup.

What our technician did

  • Removed the old furnace: disconnected and pulled out the existing unit.
  • Disposed of the old furnace: hauled away the removed equipment.
  • Installed the new Bryant 821TA36045V14: set the 80% two-stage furnace in place according to city standards.
  • Installed a new gas valve: fitted a new valve for the gas supply.
  • Installed a new gas connector: connected the furnace to the gas line.
  • Ran new thermostat wire: pulled fresh thermostat wiring to the unit.
  • Installed a new thermostat: mounted and wired the thermostat.
  • Reconnected the exhaust pipe: reattached the flue so the furnace vents safely.

The two-stage design lets the furnace run on a lower setting most of the time and step up to full output only when needed, which helps hold a steadier temperature and run more quietly than a single-stage unit. The 80% rating means the furnace converts most of its fuel into usable heat while venting the rest safely through the flue. Nur HVAC completes each furnace changeout to code and tests the system before leaving so it heats the home safely and reliably.
