“Great service twice now from Islam D! I have 2 small children and both times they've gone above and beyond to help me get heat going as quickly as possible. First time the motherboard went out on my furnace and Islam had an old one with him that he was able to quickly install while we waited for new replacement under warranty as unit is under 3 years old. Came back once he had new one and swapped them out again. This most recent time Islam came after hours and I can only imagine after an already long day to make sure he was able to help us as of course it had been our coldest days of the winter. We went to furnace and he checked everything to find nothing actually wrong. He decided to switch up wiring to thermostat as only 2 of the 5 wires available were being used and thankfully that worked. Even came out of it being able to now use the "fan" function on furnace. As long as Islam works for Nur HVAC, I will not being calling anyone but him!”

The workmanship is excellent. They are all very knowledgeable. “This will be my 2nd 5-star review for NUR HVAC and specifically for the work that Adlan provided with installing a new furnace in my Mom's house. This was a follow up review to my first one where he saved the day in fixing my mom's ancient furnace. This one is to really provide value and context with the exceptional work Adlan did in working his magic yet again in getting the job done so efficiently and creating such an easy/seamless experience with the installation of the new furnace. I truly commend his time, effort and overall expertise to ensure everything was installed with the highest level of precision. He is meticulous in his work and I am beyond impress with his professionalism and kindness. He again walked me through each of the new features and provided guidance on what to look out for and the maintenance needed (which was very little with everything being super new). We now have a great new Carrier furnace and a cool Ecobee Thermostat that is super user friendly and modern. If you get lucky enough to have Adlan on your service call, then just know you hit the jackpot in someone who truly cares about his work, is super diligent and is dedicated to providing you with 5-star customer service. “I am extremely pleased with my new Mitsubishi heat pump installed by Nur HVAC. Everyone in California should use a heat pump due to the high cost of electricity, and Nur HVAC should be your installer. My installation was performed in two parts: the upstairs in Mar 2025, then downstairs in May 2026. I commend Nur HVAC for their patience during this protracted and difficult installation. After an initial assessment to determine my needs, the team arrived to plan the installation of the upstairs hardware. They asked many questions to figure it out. It only took 5 days for my on-site representatives Konstantin and Maxim to finish the work, which I felt was clean and neat; the electrical, refrigerant, and condensate lines blended into the existing arrangement seamlessly. By the end of day 5, I had hot and cold air at the touch of a button. About a year later, my remodeling had progressed enough for the installation of the downstairs units. Sadly, other contractors inadvertently cut the 220V supply line to the 2nd floor units. And while they meant well, these other contractors totally messed up the 220V supply line for the 1st floor units, running it to the 2nd floor breaker box instead! Maxim and Konstantin went above and beyond the call of duty, doing jobs that weren't theirs. They re-routed the 1st floor electrical line to the 1st floor breaker box, and got everything working. They were quick to suggest best placement of the indoor units. Additionally, they figured out a far better arrangement of the outdoor unit and refrigerant lines. The installation was more concealed and neat afterwards.”

We opted to get everything done in one go, so we replaced an outdated furnace, installed new air ducts & vents, and decided on an efficient A/C unit. Nur HVAC was reasonably priced, not the most expensive, not the cheapest, but had the best communication, clear outline on the work being done, and the actual workmanship of the install was very professional. “We used Nur HVAC to replace gas furnace with a heat pump inverter, replace the aging duct work and gas water heater with a heat pump water heater, all in the same contract. Our project manager, Arthur was on-time for the scoping appointment. He took time to understand our needs, investigated the attic, ducts and all the existing equipment, before making any recommendations. He designed the optimal system for our house to be cost effective, provide highest comfort and be energy efficient. He was not pushy and was upfront about the ballpark estimates and timeline. He also walked us thru the various rebates that are available for the replacements from local utilities. Arthur’s quote was very competitive, in fact better than those quoted to us by Costco referred contractors. Nur’s installation crew - Eldar, Bhakridin, were very professional and thorough. They didn’t rush the job and left the job site clean and clutter free each day. They accommodated our requests for placing the electrical wires and conduits so they are not in the way. All the equipment both indoor and outdoor were cleanly laid out, secured and wiped down before hand off. Always smiling and respectful, one of the best installation crew we have had. As a white glove contractor they took care of all the permitting, inspection paperwork w/ the city, all the paper work for us to receive the rebates. They even completed the warranty registration with the manufacturers for all the equipment! We would highly recommend Arthur and Nur HVAC to anyone in the Bay Area needing heating and cooling solutions. We would definitely be going back to them ourselves when the need arises.”

We had them upgrade our old gas furnace and gas water heater to heat pump units and I can say hands down that this was the most positive home improvement / construction project we've done. “Working with David and NUR was a wonderful experience. I changed out my gas water heater to a heat pump and my gas furnace to a more efficient one. David was exceptionally patient while I took over 6 months to decide on a system and never rushed me or pushed me to spend more money. In fact, when I changed my mind to a much less expensive system AFTER I already signed a contract and he had submitted a permit application, he completely supported my decision and didn’t act at all annoyed. After the units were both installed, he presented me a bill that was actually less than what he initially quoted because of different hardware used and a rebate he was able to get. His honesty is so refreshing. The work was done efficiently and the workspace was always kept clean when they left for the day. David initially came to my house to give me a quote, he offered me a ductless option which no other HVAC companies suggested, and was clearly experienced in HVAC installation, and gave me the best quote for top of the line equipment. Other HVAC companies sent salespeople, but David was technical and addressed my concerns and questions with great detail. The team that installed my new heat pump went above and beyond - they fixed some loose wiring in the crawlspace and adjusted the gas and exhaust lines for my water heater to save space. The installation was well done, the wiring and new lines they ran were clean and organized, they ensured that all the ducts were sealed and the airflow was balanced to all my rooms.
